Huddle started with a simple Google search. I was looking for minimalist, well-made jewelry to wear to my husband's aluma mater spring game (Go Broncos!). My search was ultimately short but not sweet, any accessories in my colors of choice were few and far between.
As a former D1 softball college athlete and proud University of Michigan alum and 2005 WCWS Champion (Go Blue!), I believe there should be a way to show your pride that reflects your style — without leaving the smaller teams out. So I created Huddle: a collection of demi-fine, customizable jewelry that lets you wear your team colors, no matter who you’re cheering for.

We use only 14k gold-filled materials sourced from reputable U.S.-based suppliers. That means the gold layer is permanently bonded to a jeweler’s brass core and makes up 5% of the total weight of the piece. This is not the same as plated jewelry — it’s a much thicker layer of gold that won’t rub off after a few wears.
- Gold-Filled: Bonded with a thick layer of gold (about 100x more gold than plating). With proper care, it lasts for years without tarnishing or fading.
- Gold-Plated: Uses a microscopically thin layer of gold — often wearing off in weeks or months.
- PVD-Coated: A physical vapor deposition process that’s more durable than plating, but still not as thick, long-lasting, or “real” as gold-filled.
Gold-filled is the closest you can get to solid gold at a fraction of the price.
